I'm not getting any satisfaction with this. Just see how they're refusing to admit it's a bug!

Date: 2005-08-03 06:02 pm (UTC)i read it all, and maybe i'm missing something, but it seems like the change they made tightened up security. after all, wouldn't it be a big security hole to trust the cookie information without being authenticated as that user? if it still worked the old way, what would stop someone else from fabricating a cookie with your username and posing as you? i do agree though, that it's a real nuisance to have to log in/remember to log out.

Date: 2005-08-08 05:43 pm (UTC)When you give an answer to a question, your answe'r is screened, and read by modifiers. The best answer is shown and send to the person who asked the question.
So all those who answer your question don't have any access to lj-settings and stuff. They just support.
I had 3 support-points with my old journal and had to fight for them to get them. :o)
So i don't know if any out there is able to answer your bug-question
