I'm a positive person with a dream or two up my sleeve. According to an online test I took, I'm a Keirsey type ENFP. I'm happily married to the sweetest man I've ever met and we live in Silicon Valley with our 5 furry feline children. Four indoor/outdoor and one backyard stray who showed up injured and starving. We also have a neighborhood tom we try to tame between mating seasons in the hope of getting him neutered.
I do my best to live by the Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
I've begun a new career in middle age because mine evaporated. Three years of intensive schooling and a two year internship at NASA have resulted in a new career in IT with a wonderful company. Hard work does pay off!
I'm enjoying the journey, because that's what life is all about. It's not the destination, it's the journey! Despite my original resentment and fear about having to learn a whole new thing at my age, I got back into the swing of college and I'm having a really good time meeting new people and waking my brain up to new ideas. I love my new job at a great company!
A few of my posts are friends only. Sometimes I post about childhood traumas I've survived and healed from to share my experience, strength and hope. Those are behind locks. Let me know if you want to be my friend. If you add me as a friend, I'll check out your journal.
