This morning my dream had me in Los Angeles on some type of business. I stopped to grab a bite to eat in a cafe in the business district of Venice, CA and thought of Ainjel Emme, wondering where the cafe was she works in. It wasn't this one. I didn't have time to dawdle and hit the road for my appointment and as I drove down the street I saw a glass storefront with a sole person manning the counter. It was Ainjel. She looked up and saw me and we both waved wildly at each other.
My business appointment was lost in the sleep snooze button smashing but in my last segment of sleep I was going back to see her. I couldn't remember which block it was one or the name of the shop/cafe and suddenly I saw it. It said AINJEL EMME in sparkling slanting capital letters over the entrance. She was busy this time and didn't see me. As I turned the corner there were two parking places open on the left. It must have been a one-way street. I pulled into one and was trying to grab a long-haired teddy bear I'd bought for her from the back seat so I could fluff it with a brush before giving it to her. In the dream, she loved fluffy teddy bears and had a collection. Some woman opened the passenger side door and grabbed a map from the seat that was on top of a pile of school books and notebooks. Someone bumped me from behind. Four people started giving me a hard time. I suddenly wondered if I'd pulled into a gang-reserved parking place even though these weren't teenagers. I started to cry saying I only wanted to go see Ainjel.
Suddenly they backed off and the woman put my map back. That's when the alarm went off again and I couldn't find the sleep snooze.
Damn. I still didn't get to visit with Ainjel!
