sugarplumkitty[Error: unknown template qotd]We have a land line. All it took to convince me was the Loma Prieta quake back in 89. Cell towers were out for a while. Our land line worked. Sure, I had to wait several minutes to get a dial tone but it worked. This is earthquake country. If I need emergency assistance, by golly, I'm going to have every possible access available. Besides that, cell phone reception isn't as good as land line. I find the occasional echoes, digital break ups and dropped calls to be very annoying.
