It's so hard to get good pictures of a black cat. He's washed out by the flash. I had to tweak most of these a bit or a lot to get him looking more normal. I love how we can see his spots! Normally, we have to see him in just the right light to get a glimpse of them. Here he is napping in my dirty laundry.

I'm right there with you on the whole black-cats-are-hard-to-photograph. I can't decide which is harder: Solid black Soybean, or luxurious solid gray Grapenut. Neither one come out looking the right shade!

The glossier they are the worse it gets. Loki is very glossy.
