I had some great news for myself yesterday. At my checkup I found out I've now lost 42 pounds! That's another four pounds since the last time I weighed myself a couple of weeks ago. Two more pounds and I'll be under 200. Yippee! My doctor was really impressed. She scrolled back on my weight in graphic format and it's a steady decline at a very healthy rate. She went through my nutrition supplements and wants me to drop the Vitamin A and change the balance of Vitamin B's. The others are probably fine. When I told her what I'm eating daily and about walking on the treadmill, she was very happy. :)

I switched to that new b/c pill that only allows a cycle every four months. I sure hope that works out for me. Only one week every four months where I have to deal with the creeping grumpies and stupids from imbalanced hormones! Yay!

She's convinced my blood sugar will be back in the normal range. We'll see. I hadn't eaten so I did my blood tests before I left. My oatmeal was in the car. Man it got thick and hard to eat!

When I got home from work and Mom's, I was picking up the mail when Eric got home. The little girl from next door was up on our porch trying to get Scampi to come over to her. She kept talking to us. When I called "Honey?" from the kitchen to Eric in the bedroom, she answered. The chaos of it all created a big problem for me. I saw my weekly paycheck in the mail. In my mind I threw the mail on my chair and when we got back from getting El Pollo Loco take-out, I threw the mail in my chair onto the couch. Yeah, I'm that disorganized.

Having Alexa on our porch was disturbing to both of us and to the cats. I finally told her we needed to let the porch be a "safe" area for the kitties. She took the hint. :)

Today I went to the couch to get my paycheck and it wasn't there. Nothing but catalogs were on the couch. I'd been sitting on a catalog since the weekend. Did I only throw that onto the couch? Now I vaguely remember wanting to put the junk mail into a box we used to throw it in but that box is now unavailable because Eric stacked stuff on it. I had to go into the kitchen to put it in the recycle bag. Did I recycle my check? This morning was trash pickup and Eric put everything out last night. If I put my check and (who knows what else) into the recycle, it's gone.

Oh how I hope Eric remembers what I did with the mail last night and I pray it wasn't put into the recycle!

If I can't find my check tonight I'll call the temp agency and tell them I accidentally recycled it. Please stop the check and issue me another.

Sometimes having ADHD really bites. If I don't follow my rituals, I'm lost.

Yay!

Thanks! It has been over the span of nearly four years so it's very slow but it's steady. I'm now walking a mile on the treadmill nearly every workday and I'm up to 3 miles per hour without getting out of breath. Don't want to trigger my asthma!

i hope you will find that check real soon. Can someone else cash it in or something like that? Should you be worried about that?
Maybe you should call the agency and warn them about it anyway

They could but I'm sure nobody has sorted through the recycle yet. I've already called to put a stop on it so they can't cash it. I'm faxing a direct deposit request and they'll put my money into my account at the end of tomorrow. I may not have access to it until Monday, but that's fine. It's all OK now.

You have to provide meals for a family. That makes it harder.
