My local paper had a feature called "From This Day Forward" that was beautiful. People with special weddings would invite Luci Houston, a photojournalist to take a picture and write a short story about their ceremony. It was all her idea. I loved it. She was murdered the day before Thanksgiving. They found her body in her car a few days later. Her estranged husband is refusing to speak to police and has hired a lawyer.

I'm devastated as are a huge number of people. It's just so senseless! I never met her but she touched me in a special way. Why are people who are bright lights attracted to violent bastards?

I removed her picture from here because I realized I was violating a copyright.

Rest in peace Luci. You changed the world for the better while you were here.
