Brandon comes today!

I talked to Brandon on the phone last night. Grandma Jean forgot to turn her cell phone on and didn't get my message. April woke me in a panic over nothing. The bit about Brandon staying for a month was Jonathan teasing April and April not realizing it. Brandon starts classes next Monday, so he has to go back home on Sunday. I'll pick him up at the train station immediately after work today. How he's getting home is still to be determined.
The couch is cleared off. I've scrubbed our bathroom so it won't scare him. The bedding Jonathan used on the couch is in the washer. My clothes are nearly done in the dryer, so Brandon's bedding will be going in soon. I'm exhausted.
I should be at work right now. I overslept and have a chiropractic appointment in about an hour. Guess I'm working a half-day today. Probably should call someone to tell them that. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Our nieces' presents are wrapped, boxed and addressed. I'll stop at the post office on my way to mail them off. They're getting a bonus of snow kitty mugs since Katie's family didn't join us for Christmas.
Stupid virus. GO AWAY! All that's left is exhaustion.
Oh! Brandon's built-up presents! I know which stack the bag is in. Guess I'll dig them out tonight when he's here.

Date: 2007-01-04 01:18 am (UTC)Isn't it amazing how housework can be so tiring?
I'm learning how to do stuff every day. (yes, me!!) So I do a load of clothes, empty the dishwasher, generally clean up when I get home from work before I sit down (because once I sit down, it's over). Then it doesn't build up. What a concept!!
And the kids are learning about chores. They love it. NOT
