Ugh, uncombed morning hair.

Yesterday, Scampi was sharpening her claws on the scratchy box and he came up next to her to tease her. She got a very playful look on her face, hissed a short little hiss and pretended to jump at him. He ran full speed through the house as she stood on her scratchy box looking quite pleased with herself. lol

This morning he was trying to get Cactus to play by mock jumping at her. She didn't budge. She didn't hiss. She just calmly stared at him and he collapsed down onto the bed as if he were being deflated. She is the Queen and "We are not amused." But even that is an act. She thinks he's cute and they do romp a bit.

Sorry about the lack of updates but my hands are hurting from the injections. In particular, my right hand is extremely painful. It's still working so I know he didn't hurt the nerve permanently. Must hang in until the week or two pass by for the cortisone to have full effect.

Jonathan invited himself to spend the weekend with us. I warned him I can't clean the way I normally do before he comes. I'm not physically up to it. He's fine with it and plans to help us out a bit. He's going through kitty withdrawal and the pictures of Loki have been too much for him. :)

He's on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) right now on his way here from Berkeley. Eric took today off and will go downtown to pick him up from where the bus from BART drops him to save him a couple of transfers.

Jonathan is coming!! YAY! I just hope I have some energy to spend with him.
