That horizontal thing is a bed at a 45 degree angle. Someone stayed sealed in this little room for 21 hours. They were given a TV, a supply of nourishment and a way to deal with the results of that. ;o) |

two person centrifuge - people powered This device simulates exercise in space by having two people lie in chairs with their feet toward the edges as they pedal bicycle parts to make the centrifuge go. They can get up to 1.5 G's. |
