Productive day

sugarplumkittyThe tech support department at aplus.net stepped up to the promises and I'm in the process of uploading all my webfiles. YAY!
Last night I got home from class and Eric seriously said there was a problem with the washer. Then his eyes sparkled, he handed me the broken switch and asked if I could get a new one. I'll have to get a new bolt for the console. He said the last person who worked on it cross-threaded it so it's ruined. I ordered the switch from the closest appliance parts store and they'll have it in tomorrow afternoon. I'll take the ruined bolt in to get a replacement when I pick it up. Yay!
When I was doing my laundry, I couldn't find my favorite beige slacks. Yesterday it hit me. I'd hung them in the closet at the Disneyland hotel and didn't remember getting them back out to pack. Today I called the hotel and they were waiting for me in the lost and found. They're sending them to me! Yay!
I also couldn't find my lumbar support pillow I use in my car. On the chance that I'd left it in the rental, I called the dealership. Yes, they have it. I'll pick it up on my errand run today. Yay!
I called Eric's old church in MacPherson, Kansas to ask about the letter they'd sent him. The secretary explained they're cleaning up their membership rolls and sending letters out to see if people want to stay in the membership or not. She laughed when I told her it was too far of a commute from California. Apparently he had never told them to take him off, so he had been listed there all this time. Eric is now off their membership list.
And the very best news?
I got an interview letter from Nasa/Ames!!!! WHEEEEEEE! I'll be interviewing for an internship position on June 6th between 12:30 and 6PM. YESSSSS!!!! I need to put my artwork into a portfolio and bring six copies of my resume.
