Damned hormones!

Why was my temper overriding the nice hormones last week? Because my body is determined to have a three week cycle, that's why.


I woke up yesterday morning soaked with blood. I got up and washed everything and lay back down for a hour before I had to get up to do a delivery job for my voice-over school. I was cramping badly. It stopped by around noon which is when my doctor called me back. She's upping my hormones by another notch. I'm now going to take 15mg of Progestin through Sunday. I really didn't want to deal with this during my Disneyland slumber party weekend.

I also didn't want to deal with it yesterday when I was driving all over San Francisco and to the East Bay delivering flyers and information handouts to agencies about a seminar coming up in June.


It didn't turn out to be a devastating problem yesterday, thankfully. I even drove across the bay bridge for the first time since the Loma Prieta quake... I think. Maybe I drove across it once before? I don't remember. I kept looking for the patched section where they reassembled it. Couldn't see a difference.

Still no news on my car. I'm tempted to stop by there on my errands this afternoon to see what the heck they're doing with it.

well glad I am not the only one.. 3 weeks starting today.. Have had wicked migraine all day.. Have already taken lets see 2 advil, 2 aleve, 2 tylenol and day not over yet. My head is still pounding and my mood is not getting better.

Oh yeah. I've been cursed with severe perimenopause symptoms. My mom had the same ones. Natural remedies helped a little bit at first, but they can't stop the hemorrhaging that started happening six weeks ago or the rages, depression, constant hotness, muscle cramping and night sweats.
