I'm posting these in groups of three or four to be kind to those of you with dialup.

My sis and bro-in-law have a lovely yard with lots of flowers.

In this group are:
Bird of paradise, bluebells (I think) and candytuft

We have to pay a hella lot of money here in PennsylYUCKY for birds of paradise. You grow them in your yards? I thought they were only from Hawaii. We recently bought things that look lik candytufts... I'm not he gardener, Wiggy is. He'd know what we just got but it looks a lot like your candytufts pic. (I love flowers!)

Birds of paradise grow like weeds out here. I hope to get a start the next time my mom or sister need to thin theirs out.

They are SO beautiful! The first time I saw them was when I worked at the first (big evil law firm) Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. They got them every day for their "arrangement" at the front desk to greet visitors. I had never seen a flower like this (and I worked for the managing partner) Wow. The money they spent on poseys for their fron desk would have helped out the tsumani people. Seriously. Birds of Paradise are hella expensive here in the east (blue state -- yeah!)
