A few pictures from Easter - part 1, the people

We only had seven for our gathering this year. My nephew Mike is still in England with his girlfriend Katie and my nephew Chris was in a bicycle race today in Fairfield, Calif. It seemed quiet without the boys. We had a nice pleasant day. Nobody gave me any crap about cleaning our house. Whew!

My mom did OK. Every time the phone rang she jumped. She'd given the vet my sister's number in case Boots died. No call while we were at Sherrie's. She's ready to let him go unless they miraculously find a fixable problem with the ultrasound tomorrow. The two cats provided a distraction. Otto, Mike's cat, was kooky and gave us a lot of comic relief. I'll post their pictures next.

Sorry. I re-read and boots did not die. I read fast (its a curse since I put my ex-husband through his Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon -- they teach you to read FAST and only glean the important stuff). Well, I helped him study and, hence, now I read FAST too and sometimes miss stuff. Never mind. We had NO people here for our Easter. Since my dad called and threatened to shoot Wiggy and all. Though, I did a STAR 69 (instant callback) on the phone and my parents did call here on Saturday when Wiggy and I were out blowing all our money at the thrift store. This was heartening. I imagined it was my mom calling to apologize and invite us over for ham.

Yes. I did this as a friends only post on Friday or so. Did you get it? You are a "friend" on my list, right? And my dad so wasn't kidding. He carries a gun all the time now (since he got sick in 2000 with prostate cancer and 80 mini strokes and had to had his carotid artery cleaned out). He is normally ok but when my mom gets ahold of him with her ranting and strange ideas, he seems to always take her side even if it is ridiculous. Ack. This prolly seems nuts to you. Read my posts when you have free time. hahaha! Like you HAVE any free time. Never mind.

I don't do friends only posts hardly ever so I didn't know if I did it right or not. I thought it puffed out into nowhere except Magnolia5 responded to it, so I KNEW it had to have posted.
