The CDF decided not to send Mike to the fires after all because he's too new!!

WHEW! He's stuck in a small town near Tracy, CA until he gets more training. YAY!

I'll feel better about it once they've really trained him in the particulars of fighting wildfires and their team protocol.

Thank God he's safe for now!

Thanks to all of you for your hugs, thoughts and prayers! They worked!!
