Sweet Squeak!

Dynamics with the kitties continue to evolve. Scampi has apparently let Squeakers know my lap belongs to her in the living room. Squeakers will still get on the back of my chair but she won't snuggle with me in my chair anymore. Cactus has let Squeakers know the bedroom is her area to own me. The only kitty allowed to snuggle with me in bed is Cactus. That leaves the bathroom for Squeakers. The computer room and kitchen are shared. We rarely use the computer room now that we have our newest computers set up in the living room and there is no place to sit in our small kitchen Poor Squeakers!

It was our first hot night of the year. Records were broken yesterday and will be broken today as well. I wore summer pajamas and slept most of the night without covers. Cactus chose to be away most of the night, probably out playing with Loki and Squeakers. I awoke at one point feeling a cat walking on me. This is odd. I'm so used to cats walking on me in bed that usually I sleep right through it. I reached out and it was Squeakers. Her fur is so silky-soft, I know it by touch. It spooked her and she left. :(

I was sleeping on my side and awoke before my alarm because a warm furry body flopped down against my belly and bare legs. Squeakers!! I reached down to pet her and she rolled like a dolphin in water several times so I could pet her all around. What a silly girl! With the fan and our CPAP machines, I couldn't hear her purring but I could feel it rumbling her chest.

Suddenly she was gone. Cactus took her place. ooh! Caught in the act! lol
