Ahoy me mateys!

Yarr, wouldn't ye know today be the day I interviews fer that job at NASA. I'll have to ask fer dispensation from talkin' like a pirate durin' the interview.

lol, me wonders if anyone at me temp job is goin' to show up with an eye patch today.

Avast, this is hard.

I'm going to confront the internship office at NASA. My free credit protection ends this week and even though I've called their office several times asking what I need to do to get NASA to pay for a year of credit protection as they promised in the letter I have, nobody has called me back. I re-read the letter this morning and it states that my center manager will have the information. The internship office was my center manager. I'm planning to arrive at the base 10 to 15 minutes before I need to for the interview and show up in their office demanding the information I've been promised. That'll throw a yard arm in their jibs! Yarrr!
Mom's PC got a new hard drive last night. It took 10 CD's to reload it. She has a CDR and a DVDRW drive and at each disk change, both of them opened. At disk 5, I decided to see what would happen if I put the next two disks into the drives. It was a very pleasant surprise when the next time I checked on it, it had used them both and was looking for disk 7. That made things go easier for both Scampi and me. She had to get off my lap every time I went to check on the PC. Now it's doing a check disk on the old drive. I left it in there as a secondary drive so I could get as much of Mom's data off of it as possible. We'll see if there's anything to get. Tonight will be Windows and driver updates, then Mom will get her PC back. :)

My Cafepress orders came for the Boomer Babes weekend. I'm not happy with them at all. The images aren't clear despite the fact that I carefully sent images that matched their size criteria. The long sleeved dark T-shirt is double-imaged. The light colored sweatshirt and t-shirt have faded spots in the Corralitos, CA 2007 area. The dark shirt's image isn't faded there. I'm not happy with any of them. They used to be good. Their quality control is non-existant.

The mugs are blurry. I carefully sent crisp images in the proper size and DPI and they're blurry. Grrrr! No more Cafepress.com.
