Freeway "shooting" a suicide?

For two months, investigators have been trying to discover who killed a well-liked 37-year-old stockbroker as he drove to work on a darkened Interstate 280.
On Thursday, authorities said they have concluded that Michael Fields shot himself.
Fields hefted a sawed-off shotgun, unrolled the driver's side window and pointed it at his head as he drove his beloved Mercedes-Benz down an empty stretch of freeway in Woodside, investigators said.
"That's absolutely ludicrous," Fields' wife, Lisa, said Thursday. "The whole thing just doesn't add up."

Nov. 5th, 2004 10:15 amI've got an offer to be a secret shopper and report on stores in my area. They'll give me a $1,000 gift card to spend at the designated store. I have to spend 90% of it there and report on store cleanliness, helpfulness of staff, etc.
This sounds too good to be true - especially with our worn-out bathroom fixtures and dead garbage disposal, ooh and the shed we need in the back yard for the mower and...
I've put in false info to see the offers. Two of them is all they require and there are two I'm willing to do. I'm tempted, but won't go for it without more information.
