Friday morning I had my fingerprints taken by the security clearance people at the county board of education, then turned in all my forms at the district office. The director was thrilled. She immediately scheduled me for days at two elementary schools for Sept 21 - 27. My clearance hadn't come through yet but I knew it would.

yeoww a hug. I'm not sure which of us got the bigger benefit! It has been so long since we last saw each other! We've got to find time in our busy lives to get together.
When I got home after my voice-over class, there was a message on the machine. They need me at my old middle school on Monday. That clearance obviously came through! I'm already working 6 days out of the next 15 work days. Yay!
