Various updates

I've felt very cowardly about calling for an update. Finally I got my courage up today and called the hospital. He's in a room with a phone. That's good news! So I talked to him. He's extremely weak or maybe they have him sedated, I don't know. When I asked him how he was doing he said, "They're fixing me tomorrow and we'll worry about it then." I asked him what they were going to do and he said they're giving him a new heart valve. Oh I so hope this goes well!
My neighbor's sister is home now. She's still using a walker to get around but she's recovering.
Did I mention that our neighbor had a heart attack about a month ago? According to the lady across the street they did bypass surgery on him. His grandson has fixed up the yard. I hope that doesn't mean they're selling the house. We like the old guy.
