I recently read about this in my Time Out New York magazine...probably about 3 weeks ago. LOL! I forgot all about it...I need to find out how I can get in on the action! =)
I hadn't heard from the newspaper and thought it was too small a story for them to bother with, so thanks for the update!
Things are toddling along. I'm wearing another sleeveless top. Friday two other managers wore Hawaiian shirts as a silent statement of protest. The director took this week off - unexpectedly, I heard.
(Awww, did we stress him out?)
And I heard through the grapevine that the directors of other departments are telling him to knock it off because everyone's getting stirred up.
How's the smoking situation in your building? Have you heard further from OSHA?
There was less smoke on Friday, but still had some. The building manager is all fired up to find the problem. He still insists it's coming from outside. He nows says the air system isn't shared with the office downstairs, and that they don't smoke down there anymore.
Funny what the word "OSHA" causes. They haven't called back yet.
LOL!
