I saw a beautiful rainbow this morning!

sugarplumkittyIt was only one leg of the rainbow, but it was brilliant! I could see the entire visible light spectrum vividly. My late Bunji-boo cat must have sent it. (Thanks Boo!)
It almost made up for the idiot drivers who made me 8 minutes late to work. Damn fools. Don't they know it isn't safe to dart in and out of traffic in the rain? People can't jam on their brakes in time with the roads all slippery. Then they all pile up and block the road. I'm smart enough to slow down and leave lots of space between me and the other cars. I wish they all were.
I made apple cobbler last night. It's comfort food for my hubby. It took much too long to prepare and my nerve-damaged arm is really hurting from all the peeling. I think I'll ask Santa to bring me a professional apple peeler/corer/slicer this Christmas. But it turned out even better than Thanksgiving's batch, so I'm very glad I did it. The house smells wonderful! Tonight when I get home from class, I'm going to heat some up and put Haagen Daz (sp?) vanilla ice cream on it! Mmmmm!
I'm so excited for all the people who want to exchange Christmas/holiday cards! This is going to be so fun having new US friends and an international Christmas! Yay!
Last night I wanted to get digital photos of the kitties faces straight on for modelling the card. Cats are not very cooperative. My hubby was laughing his ass off watching me try to lure them with catnip leaves and to get their attention while trying to get his camera aimed properly. The delay between the press of the button and the click of the shutter was just enough for them to turn their faces away or flip their ears back. grumble. I love my babies. They just frustrate me.
