Holy smokes I'm in!

I've been unable to access LJ for two+ days! YIKES! I feel like a junkie, needing to catch up with my friends. Our neighbor trimmed a tree that towers over our computer room window where we have the jerry-rigged wire from our phone box draped across the side of the house and through the window to our DSL connection. I think he must have damaged that vulnerable wire. But when I bought another phone cord and taped it to the floor leading across the hall to the DSL modem where the wiring is all under the house, I still couldn't access LJ. NOOOOOO!

Know how desperate I was? I actually tried to steal a very weak signal from an unsecured wireless network yesterday morning. They turned their wireless router off before I got in, darn it.

I'm in now. Don't know if I'll be able to get in later. Gotta go to lab at school.
