Ahh. This makes me feel so badly for your mom. My Joey is going downhill fast (old age and arthritis I think). I'm afraid to take him to the vet for fear of what bad news I will get. I know its selfish but I am not ready to put him to sleep yet. He still manages to get up and follow us up and down stairs but you can see how difficult it is for him. Even so, I am making an appt at the vet's this week. Maybe we could at least get him some pain meds or something.
Boots had a good life. Be happy your family gave him the good long years he did have. A lot of kitties aren't so lucky.
