Squeakers came out normal on the definitive test! The vet is overcautious to the extreme and insisted on yet another test for coagulation. I took her in yesterday for that, snatching her from her nap place in the garage near Dempsey. They also did yet another pre-op blood test, though why they need that after all the freaking blood tests she's had is beyond me. Tuesday is spay day if the coagulation study comes out all right. I'm thinking it will.

When we got home, I let her loose and she came into the house with me. Dempsey came in looking for her to to my dismay she started to assume the mating position and dance for him. He went over hesitantly because we were watching then grabbed her neck. We broke things up at that point and insisted he leave. The steel door is back in place. Eric thought they were only playing until later in the evening when she started yowling a bit.

Darn. I was hoping we'd get her spayed before her next heat. Well, only a few more days of this then we're done with it.
Eric's dad called a bit ago. They got as far as western Arizona when they got news/ that the wife of the other couple had lost her mother. They had to turn back and go home. So we won't be having Eric's Dad and his wife plus cousin Bill and his wife showing up on our doorstep. WHEW!

Eric's job has been sheer hell lately and with the prospect of having the bunch of them show up and see our house in the mess its in was heavy on his shoulders. It was weighing on mine, too but I had school to finish and it was all I could do to catch up.

Yesterday I finished the labs I could do and turned my lab binder in. Today the final was activated so I took it and the one remaining module assessment I had left. 98% on the final. 91% on the last module. We can retake the modules if we want, so I retook the ones that were in the 70% range and got two of them up into the high 90's and 100% on a third. Percentage for the course: 91% and that's without my lab credits. Yarr! A achieved!

All that's left now is the survey of the class and that hasn't been activated.

I'm very grateful my family postponed Easter so I could get all of this done, even if it means maybe not getting to go when they gather next week. I've committed to caring for J next Sunday. Maybe he'll be up to going with us. If not, Eric is willing to stay with him so I can go.
