This company means it!

I should have stayed home yesterday after all. They really mean it when they say to stay home if you don't feel well. I guess by the time I got to work yesterday, I looked like death warmed over. Getting ready for work and driving there with the really bad traffic completely drained me. It took until lunch time for me to feel better again.

My boss came in after I talked to the guys about it and I asked him about it. He said the quarters are too close for any of us to come in when we're sick because we'll spread it. He says they give us lots of sick time to prevent spreading illnesses. Well, they've been really vague about how much we get and how much we've accrued because they don't want people abusing it. It's not listed on our paystubs. So next time, I'll stay home that extra day to recuperate.

How about that? Most companies say it but if you do it they'll write you up. I keep being amazed by this company.
