We let her be free all weekend. She seemed to be getting along with the big kitties better. I even let her play in the front yard with Alexa, the six-year-old from next door while I took down the Halloween decorations. For a while she was playing with one end of the leather bootlace while Loki played with the other about two feet apart. No growling happened!

Most of the weekend she was Cacti's shadow. Cacti didn't seem to mind too much. There was some hissing and grousing around the edge of the bathroom door when I was in there, but nothing serious. Baby was playing. Cacti's whiskers were forward, so she might have been half-playing, too. I've been encouraging her to stand up for herself with Baby. Cactus is usually very meek with other cats and needs to get some confidence. She won't hurt the baby.

But at bedtime, Cactus had to snarl at Baby twice to stop her from attacking Cacti's tail. We tried to get Baby to go to Eric for snuggles, but she refused to leave my leg.

This morning, I fed the big kitties. There's no sign of Loki at all. Scampi walked into the kitchen and Baby snarled and chased her out. I scolded her and called Scampi back. Baby was munching on big kitty food and snarled again. Scampi left. I was trying to give Scampi her morning thyroid medicine and Baby was being rude. Baby was put into her room at her own dish, snarling at me the whole time. Not fighting, just vocalizing. I told her she was naughty and had to stay in her room. She hasn't even pawed at the door.

I suspect she's over-tired and went right to sleep. She'll stay in her room while we're at work today.

The zoo was a lovely day on Saturday. I'll eventually get the pictures out of the camera and write about it. :)
