Second interview at NASA today!
Oct. 22nd, 2007 07:41 amLong lunch meeting with the entire crew happens today starting at 11AM. From the way they're talking, it's a mere formality. "You're missing our big conversion of (x) but we'll let you configure your workstation so you know the settings when you start November 12th."
Tonight I install my mom's DSL. She's convinced her installation is a disaster because they've put it on her main phone line instead of Gramma's phone line that she's kept so she can do dial-up without blocking her phone line. I may have to rewire her dual outlet. No big deal.
I'm really worried about my friend Steve and his mom. He moved back in with her when his marriage broke up at the same time his dad died. His mom's house is one of those mansions in the canyon of Malibu. They live next door to Whoopi Goldberg. There hasn't been any mention of her house burning up. I hope that's good news for them.
