Of course the first thing he said when I woke up was, "Guess what else Loki likes? Fruit and nut bars!" yeah, now he likes flaming hot cheetos and fruit and nut bars
Loki is very allergic to something in most cat foods. The most common allergy is to wheat gluten. Fruit and nut bars are whole wheat. I said "I wish you would stop feeding him weird foods. He's allergic to wheat. If he has a reaction we both know I'm going to be the one giving him prednisone for the next month!"
Eric said we don't know it's wheat he's allergic to and I pointed out that wheat is the most common allergy. He asked Loki to please not get sick because then mommy would be mad at him (Eric). Loki was lying in the upset stomach position soon after that. Now he's sleeping cradled in one of my arms. If I thought he'd remember I'd make him give Loki the pred should it be necessary. But this is a man who sometimes forgets to feed them.
