Ugh, nasty cold got me
Dec. 23rd, 2006 01:17 pmMy nose has been itchy for the last few days. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to everyone's yule logs or something but as I tried to fold and cut my mountain of holiday cards last night, I felt worse and worse. My sneezes became explosive and more often and my nose wouldn't stop running. I resemble Rudolph with my red nose. Loki wouldn't leave me alone. He's really intuitive about people feeling ill or depressed. When he finally jumped up on my lap and plopped on my chest to snuggle, I gave up my denial and admitted what I have is a cold. After watching him be intrigued by the ink jet printer cartridges as they printed our Christmas letter and stopping him from trying to catch it, I finally went to bed.
There's no way the cards are hitting the mail today. That means they won't hit the mail until after Christmas. They'll be New Year's cards.
Blech. My head feels like a balloon.
I still have to pick up a few more gifts. We're giving money to those who want money for things. At least I have a little gift for each person.
I'm supposed to bring a green salad for Christmas dinner. I guess I'll wear a mask and wash my hands really well before I touch anything.
