Early Christmas present!

Eric, my sweetie, darling, love of my life; is giving me an early Christmas present. He's getting a 120GB hard drive for my laptop with the transfer kit to replace my 40GB drive AND he's replacing the 256MB ram SODIMM with 512MB so I'll have 1024MB!! WHEEEE!

He told me I'd better be very good to him. lol

I said "oooh baby!" in my sexiest voice. He laughed and started naming off hardware components so I'd pretend to get all turned on. teehee! Oh yes, we are computer geeks. No doubt about that!

I'm down to 4% free on my hard drive and I've already uninstalled everything I can do without. I can't even defrag it. I can't install PaintShop Pro 10 that I bought a year ago, nor can I add any add-on packs to my Sims2 game. I've got the base pack, University and Family Fun on the laptop. In the box I have Nightlife.

It's ordered!!! I can't wait!

Well, I certainly had that situation sussed incorrectly. Jonathan picked up the phone and called him.

It turns out he doesn't have any spam filter turned on in his email so he just doesn't bother to dig through it to see if he has any communications from people. He's not purposely pushing us away. He's just refusing to use the communications channels most of us depend upon.

WHEW! I've been so worried about Brandon.

He says he will read and respond to snail mail. I guess he won't mind typed letters. I don't write by hand very well. Aside from the ADHD bad handwriting, I've got an input-output problem where the letters don't come out in the right order sometimes. On a computer it's cool because I can fix it easily. I think I'll include screen shots of how to turn the spam filter on in yahoo. ;)

I was delighted to hear that they spent an hour or more on the phone talking about the past. If anyone can help Jonathan heal those wounds buried so deep in his subconcious, Brandon can. Hopefully, their childhood differences will stay part of the past.
