1. How will you be ringing in the New Year?
Quietly with my hubby and my young cousin Jonathan - who will probably be asleep. He's such a lark!

2. How do you wish you were ringing in the New Year?
The same way I'll be spending it. :)

3. Do you have any traditions that you observe on New Year's Day intended to bring you luck for the upcoming year?
Nope. I'm not superstitious. It's a good excuse to lay a big wet one on my hubby!

4. Do you make resolutions? Do you keep them?
I've usually avoided making promises I can't keep. In recent years I've resolved to be early to everything. That lasts a few weeks. :( I'm just chronically late and don't know why.

5. Would you ever have plastic surgery?
Just to straighten the septum in my nose so it doesn't look crooked anymore. The way it is, I get sores in one nostril whenever I have a cold because it doesn't drain properly.

Heehee! I had to minimize this once in progress due to young footsteps approaching. He's converting his vinyl collection of classical music to MP3's using our MP3 machine and we aren't doing it for him so he's mostly stuck in the living room. ;)

Jan 1st - Our New Year's Eve was pretty tame.
Feb 2nd - Over the weekend I got four pieces of mail from the unemployment department.
Mar 2nd- Yahoo is giving out Baskin Robbins ice cream cones to people with yahoo accounts today!
April 1st - I was raised Methodist and so was taught that a lot of Catholicism was just plain wrong.
May 1st - Boots was a kitten that belonged to the little boy next door to my parents.
June 1st - I broke the washing machine.
July 2nd - Jon called me to chat on the 30th because I'd gotten involved in stuff and forgot to call him on his birthday.
August 1st - For once, I didn't have to drag Eric to a family function.
September 1st - Why aren't they dropping supplies in those isolated pockets of desperate people in New Orleans?
October 1st - The best thing about the visit was I'm down five pounds from the last weigh-in!
November 1st - Everything worked out so well as far as the treats went.
December 1st - Finals loom!
