1. What's your favorite radio station?
KGO 810

2. How would you describe the
format?
News talk. For music, I play CDs.

3. Do you think satellite radio will become commonplace, like
subscribing to cable TV?
Probably, especially if they remove commercials.

4. Have you thought about buying a satellite
radio subscription?
nope. No money for that. Besides, I have KGO for new and news talk and I've got a large music collection to play.

5. When is the last time you said goodbye? like forever? or like see ya next week?
Goodbye forever.. To Daddy a few hours before he died.
see ya next week.. yesterday to my mentor at NASA.
I think I need to make myself meditate the week before and the week of finals next quarter. I've got a wonderful guided meditation on CD so it isn't really that much of an effort to play it. Yes, that is what I will do.

Got the Christmas card mostly done. The background has been changed because I found a wonderful graphic on the NASA website that isn't marked with a copyright notice. As long as I give credit, I can use it. I modified Eric and me because I didn't like the distance between us. Lee-Roy was last night's project. Miss Cactus will be tonight's. Then the little memorial to Braticus on the back along with my updated logo, the wish for the inside (mostly formulated in my mind already) and the Christmas letter to be written. I might write that at work today if I run out of things to do. This is likely unless people have problems and it being Friday close to a holiday means there will be limited people around.

We had Andy's goodbye lunch yesterday. We ordered fried calimari as an appetizer but it came so late that only half the two huge plates were consumed. Somehow I ended up with the leftovers. So Eric and I had such a healthy dinner of fried calimari last night. My tummy isn't too happy with me this morning.

Tomorrow my nephew Mike and his fiancee are taking me to the Zoo! YAY! I love the zoo! Wonder if I get to meet any primates? Mike is really looking forward to giving me some payback for all the times I took him and his brother to the zoo. lol

Sunday my mom has bought tickets for our entire family to see The Nutcracker. It's her birthday and this is the first time in a long time she wants to get out and do something. Maybe she's finally coming out of her depression over losing Dad. One of her friends from the Timpani Center where she has water exercise classes twice a week has a granddaughter in the production. We'll "know" one of the sugarplum fairies. Monday I could work, but I'm taking the day to work on the cards. Hopefully that will be the print, fold, cut and stuff day so they'll hit the mail with a chance of getting most places before Christmas.

Oh! I've gotten beautiful Christmas/Holiday cards from [livejournal.com profile] annaonthemoon, [livejournal.com profile] joyful_grrl, [livejournal.com profile] falls2climb, [livejournal.com profile] donnickcottage, [livejournal.com profile] chaquir and [livejournal.com profile] destinyblue. Thanks! :)
