Notes to organize my thoughts - Fall Seminar #1 of 2

I have (oh darn! lol) to attend two seminars at NASA/Ames this quarter and write papers on them. I want to go to them anyway and will probably attend more than two if I can manage it. Yesterday at 4pm, I attended my first one for this quarter. I'm trying to find some of the images he used because they really illustrated his points. So far I've only found a few. I've linked to the webpages.

Cats update

The cat dentistry went really well. Both cats needed minimum treatment and came home with all their teeth. Miss Cactus got her shots in addition to clean teeth. Neither of them felt very well the next day, but they're fine now. The vet clipped their claws. No claw holes in us for a while!

Today was Scampi's turn for a checkup and rabies vaccination. She also got feline leukemia vacc. They clipped her claws, too. I didn't know they were going to charge me, but I'm still glad they did it. One of them was touching her pawpad. I got in trouble for letting it go that long. *Sigh* She freaks when I clip her claws and I can't get her to hold still to do it after I've clipped one. That one is the hardest one to reach. Oh well. She's OK for a while now.

Since I put in six hours on Monday, my twenty hours for this week ran out yesterday. I had today off. After sleeping late to try and get rid of the headache I've had since Tuesday, I decided to go get the blood tests and EKG I've been meaning to get done for over two months now. When the results are in, I expect my doctor will be able to fill out the form for me to use the exercise facility at NASA/Ames. YAY! Pilates class, here I come!

Maybe exercise will help me get rid of these headaches...
