My mom sent me an email warning me about a new people finder that went online this month. Sure enough, there we are with our address and phone number. How odd. We're unlisted in the phone book. Eric says he doesn't care one way or the other. It's up to me whether we pull our information or not.
It's weird how something like this affects me. I immmediately started looking up people from my past. Even the guy who lied to me for a year when I was 27 and totally broke my heart to marry another old high school classmate. I keep saying I don't care about him anymore. Maybe I still do care. I don't want to care. We were good friends once, before the sex and lies started. A friend wouldn't lie to someone the way he did. He would never have been good for me the way Eric is. Why did I look him up and see the satellite map of his house? Weird.
Anyway, for your information, here's the text of the email my mom sent me. I've checked it out and it's true.

I checked out the info that follows at the address below. It is real. One thing is different from the instructions below. To opt out of the listing you have to send a request via U. S. Mail. The email request doesn't do it. Look at the snopes website (address below) for instructions.

The Internet is becoming too powerful as far as I am concerned. I checked on myself and I'm listed.
I am sending this to everyone in my address book, and I urge all of you to do the same. Check to see if your name is in this Zabasearch database, which also includes addresses, phone numbers and birth dates. If it's there and you want it removed, send them an e-mail at info@zabasearch.com to request it.
They will be launching this site in May for EVERYONE to see!!! I don't know how our names are appearing there, but I checked my own and a few other random ones, and they are all in this database! Please send this on to all your friends and family ASAP!
To check, log on to www.zabasearch.com.
After opting out at info@zabasearch.com by email I guess the only way to know for sure you have been removed is to check back a few days later.
This is unbelievable!!!
