Just got back from the vet :o)
May. 18th, 2004 11:16 amLee-Roy's latest x-ray shows improvement! The mass in his lungs is less dense which means it's an infection or inflammation that is getting better!!!
He hasn't been coughing for the last couple of weeks, either. So they've now switched us to another antibiotic to see if he'll get even better and possibly be cured!! YAY! We're continuing the broncho-dialator med. If he isn't significantly better three weeks from now, we'll switch back to Clavamox and Baytril and add an inhaled steroid to finish clearing that lung out.
I hope it doesn't come to that. I don't think he'd like having a mask over his face twice a day. Lee-Roy is a Siamese mix. He's got muscles of steel and claws like scalpels. If he scratches us, we don't notice he really got us until the blood is dripping. Good thing he's sweet! He only scratches us when he's playing and gets too crazy to be careful.
