The last attempt

When the jerk radio host, Dr. Bill Wattenburg, didn't respond to my emails (emails #1 & #2, email #3), I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited a couple of weeks before trying one last time to get answers to my questions. Because really, I want answers to my questions from an expert! He covered for another radio host on Wednesday, so I know he's not on vacation. Here's my last attempt:

Dr. Bill,

I've given you more than two weeks to reply to my responses to your challenge. You've stated you're open to a dialogue if people will explain their beliefs but they never reply. Blocking my email address after sending an insulting reply isn't honest or right. I did respond to your challenge, without being insulting to you. You either ignored my emails or blocked my address. Well surprise! I have more than one email address.

If you don't respond to me this time, all the emails are being forwarded to the Station Manager at KGO. They need to know the kind of people they have representing them on the air.

All I want are answers to my questions from a certified expert. I'm open to having my opinion changed on nuclear power. I can't believe you won't step up to this challenge to win someone over to your side.

I walk my talk. Do you? If you don't, you have now lost any respect I had for you. I will put you into the pigeonhole I have for people with great knowledge and no wisdom and let it go. You're already partly into that pigeonhole.

Sincerely,
Linda M---------

**edit** This was a forward of my last reply to him and included both the reply and my original email.

If he doesn't reply or if he does in an insulting way, I'm going to follow through on my threat.

Somehow, I'm enjoying this a little too much.

The station manager knows him as well as he knows himself I'd bet. It's about money lass, not truth nor even right and wrong. It's all about making people listen to advertising, not education. I'd be stunned if he cared, and doubly stunned if the station sent you anything more than a form letter that seems personalized, if anything at all. We got letters like yours at radio stations I worked at. They always made it to the circular file, generally before the addressee even saw the envelope. By all means do what makes you feel good, but imo you're throwing a water balloon at a forest fire.

They know me at KGO. I've been a regular traffic reporter in the past. The fact that I speak out that I turn the radio off when the jerk is on will also speak to them about advertising revenue lost. For every person who brings this up, five or six more simply turn it off and don't say a word.

A fine letter, well said.

He probably doesn't have a reply and is ignoring you.
