Eric is so mad at me
I screwed up big time. I've been so intent on getting my schoolwork done that I put off copying my checkbook entries into his checkbook since I first got back from Disneyland. He asked how much money was involved and I added it up. eep. It was over $800. He about blew a gasket and then he checked the balance and glared at me. We were $200 in the hole. Luckily, he got paid yesterday and the money had made into his account in time so nothing bounced.
We had a conversation last night about cutting back. As soon as I finish this school project, I'm going to call my doctor to switch my prescriptions over to mail-order so save some money. I'll stop having a few hotwings for lunch and have peanut butter instead. We'll have soups, salads and sandwiches for dinner more often.
Gotta find work. Any work. Just a few hundred per month would get us by until I'm educated enough to get a networking job.
I know he's still angry. He's very quiet and not teasing me.

I hate that feeling though, that your SO is mad at you... it makes you feel really nervous and edgy. Hopefully he'll come around soon.

They just started up in April. They take brief how-to articles (their theory is that everyone's an expert on something) and pay about $15 up (that's for about 1000 words)--Kate's already made $75 dollars in about four days with four articles--she found quickly that longer articles pay more--she got $20 for a 1500-word article. She just sent in two more.
Just type as fast as you can about your area of expertise! Oh, they first want a general piece as a submission, to get a sense of your style and use of grammar. Once you've done that and been accepted, you're in, and you can submit as fast as you can type!
You could easily make a couple hundred a month doing this. Kate has written about how to be a great subsitute teacher, how to use a spinning wheel, what to look for when buying a horse, how to find great overlooked anime movies, how to make your dog a social animal, how to get the most out of dog obedience classes--she's just pouring out the stuff, and getting paid via Pay Pal as fast as she turns them in! (Her name is Katherine Shaw if you want to see her articles there).
It's a fun, cool new place, and she's milking it for all it's worth while it's new--she suspects they are trying to get a huge article database and then will cool down on payments, or at least raise their standards somewhat.

I am sorry to hear about you being in the dog house. I know the feeling..LOL.. and I am a bookkeeper.. but you know bookkeepers and accountants are not very good with their own personal stuff. They just don't want to deal with it.
And he can't be mad for to long.. no real damage was done. (bounced checks, etc.) at $40 a pop.. ouch.
