It was Eric's turn to name the new pet and he had seedling cactus plants at the time. When we held her, she would dig all four sets of claws into our clothes so we didn't even have to hold onto her. We didn't like velcro as a name and her claws were very tiny and sharp like baby cactus spines. Eric thought Cactus was a good name for her.

Now he says Mocha would fit her better, but she can be cranky so Cactus still fits sometimes. :)
