I'm going to ask Wiggy to read your post. He's the computer guy. His friend is the one who actually DOES network security right now -- he started at Lucent, then worked at Red Siren and now is back in California (where he is from) working at a bank. I haven't a goddamn clue what you are talking about (except I have heard Wiggy talk a LOT about Assembly, COBOL, network security, etc.).
I do know that he thinks MACs are risky on the internet from a personal security standpoint.
?? Whatever. I use a PC, spell well (more in medical terminology lately -- they told me in school that the better I got at medical term the WORSE I'd get in general spelling and THEY WERE RIGHT! ACK!) Plus, I make a lot of typos on LJ but then, I don't check my work. I just blurt and post.
