One test left and I'm free until January!
Dec. 15th, 2006 12:42 amThe CCNP1 lab final took me 7 hours with a two hour break for the classroom final time. That's nine hours straight at school. Ugh. Apparently our class is all pretty far behind, so our instructor did a review of the final we need to take online and had the class vote on three time slots he'll set up for the test to be available. The only time slot I fit into unless I take my computer to Las Vegas, is from 10PM (now last night) until 6AM this morning.
The lab final was an ordeal but I mastered it. Robert was still there when I left at 11:40PM. He's gaining confidence by figuring it all out. Sure, he's getting some help, but he's doing it!! Go Robert!
I got home, put the laundry I need for tomorrow into the washer and checked the phone messages. I'd left my cell phone at home, darn it. Karen had been trying to reach me all evening. I checked my cell phone and thought I pressed the button to check voice-mail but instead it called Karen's cell. Whoops. I hung up when I realized it wasn't my voice mail. A few minutes later, she called me. We made some last minute plans about tomorrow.
I took some ibuprofen for the headache today gave me and now I'm chilling until it kicks in. Then I'll take the final test. By then my laundry should be done and I can put it into the dryer. Hmm... I'd better get my camera from the car and unload the pictures so it will be all empty for our trip!
alessandrastarr, I'm emailing you my cell# in case there's a chance we could hug in person! You and your sweet little baby, too! I have no idea if we'll have time but who knows? ;)
